To be able to own a property in Spain, you need a Spanish tax identification number, a so-called NIE number. This means that you must have access to the residence when you are to be registered as owner of the team. Your legal representative can help you get this when you have found the right home or you can apply for this at the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in Sweden, or at a Spanish Police Station.

On the date of access, buyers and sellers meet with any representative at Notarius Publicus. Here, "Escritura Pública de Compraventa" is established - the purchase letter and the residence is paid. Once the meeting of the notary is completed, you as a buyer usually get access to the accommodation by handing over keys and documents. To access it is important that you or your legal representative write about electricity, water, gas, association costs, waste and property tax on you as new owner.
